Catching zones in the Barents Sea / the Norwegian Sea Our line vessels fish cod and haddock in several catching zones in the Barents Sea. All the zones are located more than 12 nautical miles from the coastal line, which provides us with a guarantee that no coastal cod is caught in our hauls as by- catch. The vessels which fish for Pollack, mackerel and herring fish along the Norwegian coast line in the Norwegian Sea. On your product package you can find the name and number of the actual catching zone where the fish in your package is caught.
